- $1800.00
- $2400.00 with additional 4th "software day"
- $600.00 for "software day" only
This comprehensive course is a three-day, close-up study of managed pressure drilling including basic concepts of the pressure window in addition to more in-depth exposure to operational processes and equipment. This is an operational course that includes some in-class problem solving and hand calculations. This course is intended to be both an in-depth introduction for managers as well as a primer for those who will be directly involved in managed pressure drilling operations prior to rig-specific training, or for engineers who wish to become involved in planning and job design.
An optional fourth day which focuses on MPD software is also available for an additional $600.00. Discussion of operational MPD Software will cover the different types of software available and their usage in the office and at the rig site, as well as equipment with built-in processors/programs. Students will receive free copies of Altus MPD Screening Spreadsheet. Also, SafeKick® offers a free 30-day trial license for their SafeVision© software. There will be instruction and demonstration for both of these programs along with the opportunity to practice. Bringing a laptop is beneficial but not required.
The software day can be taken separate from the main course. → Register now!
